Behind Movement Mastery

WHY YOU, WHY ME, AND WHY NOW?

What is The Essence of Movement Mastery?

Simply, the intrinsic value of movement. Learning about movement principles may provide the theoretical concepts regarding what we know about movement. However, actually doing the movements provides opportunity for embodiment – first-hand, direct experience of knowing in, and through, the body – involving how we know the body.

WHY YOU? The essence of Movement Mastery is personal embodiment and growth through self-awareness and self-knowledge of the body through skilful movement – movement from the inside out – so you experience embodied learning, leading to embodied knowing, bringing about embodied growth. Growth regarding your movement capability. This is at the heart of everything we offer at Movement Mastery.

And in Practitioner Mastery…

As an Osteopath or manual therapist you can learn how to guide your patients through this same process of self-discovery, either face to face or online. This will involve developing the skills to identify movement patterns in order to modify them appropriately for each individual, and to progress successfully. Having a direct, first-hand experience of knowing how to move more skilfully will enhance the way you teach others. If you are an Osteopath you will then be prescribing from a place of authenticity, of knowing in the body.
